Ed.D. students are required to attend at least once in person the annual IST Summer Colloquium or the annual IST Conference on the Bloomington campus. The IST Summer Colloquium typically occurs over 2 or more consecutive days in June or July, and normally contains presentations and/or workshops by an invited keynote speaker well-known in the field, as well as topical sessions led by IST faculty. The annual IST Conference is typically held in February or March and is primarily intended for presentation and discussion of research and development done by IST doctoral students and faculty.
