You begin by completing one 2-week extended seminar in June. Over the course of the next year, you will participate in 8 additional weekends-in-residence. The year-in-residence ends with another 2-week extended seminar the following June.

Masters degree in psychology or a related field with a bachelors degree in psychology and have a minimum of three years of experience in a mental health-related setting.

Four 4-Day residencies during the Academic Year in Residence.

A master’s degree or higher in Psychology and three years of related professional or academic experience.

Hands-on internship training experience in primary care or related medical settings

a bachelors degree and a masters degree from a regionally accredited postsecondary institution in the U.S., or an equivalent degree from a recognized international postsecondary institution.

Two 6-day residential conferences per year. The degree is completed in 4-years for students who follow the 6-semester plan of 10-units per semester.

All PhD applicants must have bachelor’s and master’s degrees from regionally accredited institutions. The minimum expected grade point average (GPA) requirement is 3.0 from the last degree-granting institution, though exceptions may be made.

You are required to accrue a minimum of 600 hours of residency during your enrollment. state may require additional hours for licensure. Those residencies include:
Face-to-face portion of the New Student Orientation (NSO-SB)
Winter and summer national sessions
Spring and fall research and clinical sessions
Group cluster meetings
Individual meeting with your faculty advisor

A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university or an equivalent international degree with minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
Coursework in psychology
Supervised experience as a volunteer or professional therapist in a counseling or clinical setting
Experience in psychological research through coursework and/or hands-on research
